P.E. Refresher Course for Civil Engineers

Registration Deadline: July 6th

The NH Section of ASCE will again be offering a Review Course for the Fall 2009 Professional Engineer's exam. The course is held at the NH Department of Transportation, Concord, NH. It will run for 12 weeks and cover the following topic areas: Transportation, Traffic, Hydraulics, Sanitary, Soil Mechanics, Structural Design, and Construction Engineering. The course is scheduled to start July 14th, 2009. For more details and to sign up, see the link below.

Dear NHASCE Members,

In case you did not hear, ASCE National is starting the ASCE Presidential election this month, and the polls are open until August 13, 2009. You will receive an electronic signature via email, and this will allow you to enter the on-line ballot.

If you are an ASCE member (at the Member or Associate level as of May 15, 2009) and you have not received a ballot/form from National, please contact ASCE-National at 1-800-548-2723 and request you are provided one.

Just to let you know, NHASCE Board of Directors has already endorsed Moustafa A. Gouda.

Make Sure You Vote.

Two candidates are on the slate for ASCE President-Elect 2009/2010: Moustafa A. Gouda, P.E., D.GE. F.ASCE of CMX Manalapan, NJ and Kathy Caldwell, P.E., M.ASCE of Gainesville, Florida. Voting begins on June 15, 2009. Voting members with a valid email address on record with ASCE as of May 15, 2009, will receive an electronic signature via email to enter the voting web site.

This is YOUR Society. Please voice your choice.
